FreeCAD MCP is a Model Context Protocol server plus a FreeCAD add-on. Once the add-on's RPC server is running, Claude Desktop or another MCP client can create and edit FreeCAD models, run Python scripts, inspect documents, take screenshots of the view and run FEM analyses. It needs FreeCAD and the uv tool, and your own AI assistant.

An add-on for FreeCAD, not a CAD program on its own. You still need an AI assistant (for example Claude Desktop), which may be paid.
