KiCAD MCP Server lets AI assistants such as Claude work directly with KiCad for PCB design: schematic editing, symbol and footprint creation, Freerouting autorouter integration and JLCPCB parts search. It runs on Linux, Windows and macOS. Its developer is also building Konnect, a rewrite as a native KiCad 10 plugin under AGPL-3.0; this server stays MIT-licensed and maintained.

An add-on for KiCad, not a PCB tool on its own. Check every AI-made change with KiCad's own design rule check before ordering boards.
