MCP for Blender (formerly blender-mcp) connects Blender to AI assistants such as Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor and VS Code through the Model Context Protocol, for prompt-assisted 3D modelling, scene creation and editing. One install command sets up the Blender add-on and your AI apps. It is a community project, not made by the Blender Foundation.

Blender is a mesh modeller, so this suits visualisation and concept models rather than precise engineering parts.
